Meteor Models was established in 1978 to promote 7mm scale by supplying good quality, reasonably priced kits and ready built items.
We have grown over the years and now supply kits in brass and nickel silver, short-run resin items and a range of accessories for the discerning modeller and collector.
Our kits range from the easy to build smaller locos such as the P, H, 439 & 782 classes to complex models such as the West Country, and  WD.
We will build '0' Gauge and larger models to commission.
We also make patterns, design to order and produce limited runs of kits for specialist societies.
Examples of our work can be found in the London Transport Museum and Derby Industrial Museum, as well as in private collections across the world.

New Developments
Our CR 1 Class 4-4-0T is NOW READY and in stock.
We have purchased Four Transport Age kits,
BR Standard 82000, 77000,76000 and 75000.
They are presently available to order four weeks delivery.

We are pleased to announce that we are taking on some more kits. These will include the 700 Class and Q Class 0-6-0's, Brighton G, D2, C1 and B4 Classes, the Sentinel Shunter, Preston Tram and SR Drewry Railcar kits.  Prices and details to follow.

Our Policy
To look after our customers after they have brought their loco kit, we are always here to help with any problem the modeller may have in completing their kit. We have been rewarded by many of our customers becoming our friends over the years.
